The joint Egyptian-Japanese archaeological mission between the Supreme Council of Antiquities and Kanazawa University succeeded in uncovering a rock tomb dated to Dynasty 2, along with a number of architectural features, burials, and archaeological finds at the Saqqara archaeological site.
