The tomb was discovered by Quibell In 1905. All the objects were packed together in a single chamber without decoration or inscriptions.

The objects from the tomb include objects used in daily life, and wonderful furniture. The bodies of Yuya and Thuya were found in their coffins. Their bodies are in very good. The two golden masks were also discovered on the mummies.
