Through the celebrating of Mother’s Day on the 21 of March every year, the Egyptian Textile Museum holds an annual celebration entitled 'Umm Al-Moez – Mother of el-Moez', the museum honours several ideal mothers from Al-Moez Street and the area around. The museum also hosts symbols of wealthy mothers in society every year. In 2019, the museum hosted the artist Samira Abdel Aziz, who talked about the value of a mother in Egyptian drama through her various artistic roles.
The museum also organizes tours that shed light on the museum's most important exhibits that express motherhood, especially a rare stone plaque of the Virgin Mary carrying a child Jesus.
