Visit of Thai Foreign Minister to Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria

Thai Deputy Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation, along with a delegation from Romanian General Auditing Authority, visited Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria.

Over the past few days, Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria welcomed Thai Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and his accompanying delegation, as well as a delegation from the Romanian General Auditing Authority, on the sidelines of their official visit to Egypt. They were received by Dr. Samira Madani, museum's Undersecretary for Technical Affairs and Public Relations who accopanied them on an introductory tour of museum's various halls, showcasing its collections that document various stages of Egyptian history during Greek and Roman eras, beginning with the era before Alexander the Great, through the Ptolemaic era, and ending with the Byzantine era, through a distinctive museum display scenario.

The delegations expressed their admiration for museum's presentation style and their appreciation for the unique archaeological collections it houses, in addition to its unique location in the heart of Alexandria amidst numerous prominent archaeological and historical landmarks. They also took a series of commemorative photos to document their visit.
