Under the title “Exalted Spirits: The Veneration of the Dead in Egypt through the Ages” Dr. Khaled El Anany Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, inaugurated the temporary exhibition held at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir. Nicole Champagne, Deputy Chief of the American Mission at the US Embassy in Cairo, and Dr. Louis Bertini, CEO of the American Research Center in Egypt were present.
This temporary exhibition was held in cooperation between the Ministry, the American Research Center in Egypt and the American University in Cairo and will last for three months until February 9th 2022.
