Dr. Khaled El Enany Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Mokhtar Gomaa, Minister of Awqaf, and Major General Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, inaugurated the first phase of the restoration project of Al-Tunbagha Al-Mardani Mosque on Bab Al-Wazir Street in Al-Darb Al-Ahmar. This was in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Waziry, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and Luis Muriel. The Director General of the Aga Khan Foundation and 15 ambassadors from countries around the world from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Morocco, the European Union, Finland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Spain, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Latvia, Slovenia and Cyprus.
