The iconic Baron Empain Palace, a historic wonder located in the heart of Heliopolis will soon open its doors to visitors for the first time, after a two-year-long full restoration project. Built by the Belgian industrialist Édouard Empain in the early twentieth century, the Palace is inspired by Cambodian temples, and bears witness to the story of Heliopolis, the Sun City.
