Egypt is among the 200 the tourists destinations around the world, that obtained the Safe Travels stamp

The World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC) published a report about the 200 tourist destinations around the world, that have obtained their Safe Travels stamp. Egypt was among those 200 destinations. This stamp was launched by the Council last May to restore the confidence of travelers and tourists in travel destinations and revive the global travel and tourism sector, in light of the repercussions of the Corona virus crisis.

The Council granted Egypt this seal last June and approved the precautionary measures and hygiene safety regulations implemented by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population and in accordance with the standards of the World Health Organization for the resumption of inbound tourism to ensure the safety and security of tourists and workers in the tourism sector.
