The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities established the General Administration for Visitors and Tourists Satisfaction. This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities' initiatives to upgrade the quality of services provided to tourists and visitors in Egyptian tourist and archaeological destinations. It also comes in light of the strong competitiveness among countries to attract tourism, as the levels of tourist expectations and satisfaction with the quality of services provided to tourists is an has a significant impact on their experience.
The General Administration for Visitors and Tourists Satisfaction aims to measure the satisfaction of visitors and tourists towards the services provided to them during their stay in Egypt and work to according to the requirements of tourists and visitors to ensure repetitive visits to Egypt.
Ms Ola Jamal al-Din, Director of the explained that this department will have several tasks, including supervising both the design of survey models for visitors and tourists and its distribution electronically and manually; studying the complaints of visitors and tourists and preparing proposals to solve these problems and follow-up on their implementation; ensuring the quality of all services provided in tourist and archaeological places; preparing statistical studies including the numbers and patterns of visitors and tourists and the most important tourist and archaeological places; in addition to preparing periodic reports on the quality of services provided to visitors and tourists during their visits to both touristic and archaeological places.
