in order to inspect the latest developments in order to clean and restore its colors to its former glory, and to follow up the necessary equipment for the development of the entire archaeological area and make it available to Egyptian visitors and tourists.

He was accompanied during the tour by Mr Mostafa Elham, Governor of Luxor, H.E Jonathan Cohen, the American ambassador in Cairo and other officials from the ministry and parliament members. On his way back to Luxor, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities was keen to visit the Temple of Tod, to see the condition of the temple in preparation for the start of its restoration and the development of its visitor services.
