The Coptic Museum is organizing temporary archaeological exhibition entitled "Gifts and a Story" to celebrate New Year and Christmas on Sunday, December 25, 2022 AD. The exhibition includes unique and rare collection of Coptic antiquities, which lasts for a month from date of opening. The archaeological exhibition reflects idea of presenting gifts and celebrating newborns, and sheds light on the birth of Jesus Christ and the gifts presented to him.
On sidelines of exhibition, scientific department of museum is organizing a scientific lecture entitled "Incense (wisdom of ancients): Evaluation of efficiency of incense as a resistor and treatment of air microbes" given by Ms. Dalia Nabawy, responsible for restoration department at Capitals Museum of Egypt. In addition to workshop for making incense from aromatic plants grown in Coptic Museum's archaeological garden.
The educational department of museum also organizes educational and artistic workshops for children to celebrate New Year's Day and Christmas.
