Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly chaired a meeting today of the Supreme Committee of organizing the Grand Egyptian Museum's opening celebrations, attended by relevant authorities. The Prime Minister began the meeting by noting that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has set the Grand Egyptian Museum's inauguration date for July 3.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly added that this event will be global, covered by all media outlets, and will be attended by a large number of kings, presidents, and prime ministers.

The Prime Minister indicated that there will be top-level security and logistical preparations, in addition to the technical preparations for the celebrations.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the celebrations will not be limited to Cairo and Giza, but will include events in a number of governorates across the country, and therefore, these locations must be of the highest standard.

The Prime Minister directed that the level of preparedness be raised to the highest level at the airports that will receive Egypt's guests.

Counselor Mohamed El-Homsany, the official spokesman for the Prime Minister, stated that the meeting reviewed the details of the Grand Egyptian Museum opening ceremony, including preparations and routes to and from the Grand Egyptian Museum, in addition to the ongoing work in the area surrounding the museum, the accommodation hotels,

And the development work at Sphinx Airport during the recent period, in light of the formation of a committee by decision of the Prime Minister and some association groups to monitor the most important observations and follow up on the development work at the airport.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that specific tasks would be assigned to each ministry and entity, and that the implementation of these tasks would be monitored periodically through meetings of the Supreme Committee for Organizing the Grand Egyptian Museum's Opening Celebration. Field visits to construction sites would also be conducted to ensure these tasks are being carried out.
