The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is participating, for the first time, in the Handicrafts exhibition «Diyarna 2021», which is held from 15 to 25 February in Cairo Festival City, Fifth Settlement.
Mrs. Iman Zidan, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for the Development of Archaeological Sites and Museums, said that the Ministry is participating in this exhibition by displaying the archaeological replicas produced by the new replicas factory, Kunooz, which is scheduled to open soon to meet the demand for archaeological replicas, in addition to various handicrafts, traditional products and publications of the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
She explained that this exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and it is one of the largest handicrafts exhibitions organized by the ministry to support and empower craftsmen, productive family owned associations, and owners of small and micro enterprises, in line with the 2030 sustainable development strategy for the development of traditional industries and 100% Egyptian handicrafts.
