Today, Dr. Khaled El Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, received in his office at the Ministry's headquarters in Zamalek, Minister Ibrahim Kaba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guinea Conakry, during his current visit to Egypt, heading an official delegation to discuss strengthening ways of joint cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guinea Conakry was keen to start his official visit to Egypt by meeting with the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and benefit from Egyptian experiences in the fields of tourism and antiquities.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Khaled El Enany welcomed Minister Ibrahim Kaba and his accompanying delegation, stressing the ministry’s full support to provide all possible means for cooperation. He also reviewed the measures taken by Egypt to resume the incoming tourist movement since last July and the health safety measures applied in all tourist and hotel facilities, museums and sites.
During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guinea Conakry indicated that to start bilateral meetings with the Egyptian side of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities stems from Egypt's accumulated great experience in the fields of tourism and antiquities.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guinea Conakry affirmed his country's support to benefit from the Egyptian expertise to develop the tourism sector there and to seek assistance from Egyptian cadres in the field of museums and restoration work, due to Egypt's distinguished status in this field.
At the end of the meeting, the two ministers exchanged souvenirs.
