To  encourage bilateral cooperation between the public and private sectors, the Ministry of Antiquities started a cooperation scheme with the private sector to develop the visitors’ facilities in archaeological sites.

In collaboration with the National Bank of Egypt the ministry completed the development of Philae temple archaeological site according to UNESCO standard.

Aymen Saeed assistant of the minister of antiquities for the Development of Archaeological Sites said that the work includes the upgrade of the Nile dock, the entrance gate, the installation of security kiosks and direction signages designed by Shaimaa Abul Khedr from Shosha Kamal Design House.

The ministry will start a similar project in Abu Simbel, Giza Plateau, Dahshur, Karnak and Saqqara
