Celebrating world heritage day and the opening of mummies hall at the NMEC.
Despite the hot weather today and the blessed month of Ramadan, visitors flocked to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat to visit the Mummies Hall on the first day it opened its doors to receive visitors, on World Heritage Day.
Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Museum Authority, stated that the number of Egyptian and foreign visitors to the Mummies Hall today reached 2,000.
It is worth noting that the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat has received thousands of Egyptian and foreign visitors since the opening of the Central Exhibition Hall and the receiving the royal mummies in the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade on Saturday 3 April.
