Ms. Ghada Shalaby, Vice Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs, Eng. Gehan Abdel Moneim, Deputy Governor for the Southern Region, and Dr. Osama Talaat, Head of the Islamic, Coptic and Jewish Antiquities Sector at the Supreme Council of Antiquities and Eng. Adel El-Gendy, Director of International Relations and Strategic Planning at the Tourism Development Board and the National Coordinator for the Revival of the Family Path, they visitrf the ongoing work to develop tourism services in the Old Cairo area.
During the tour, the accomplished development works were discussed, the road paving, the efficiency of the area increased, the development of tourism services provided to visitors, and the placement of guiding signs, as well as the Abo Serga Church and the cave located at the bottom of it, which the Holy Family took shelter in while passing through the area during its visit to Egypt. They also visited the Hanging Church and met with priests.
