Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, met with the president and representatives of the International Public Relations Company (APCO), that ministry contracted with last February, which has great experience in this field, to deal with the developments resulting from the Corona pandemic and its impact on the tourism sector in Egypt and the world.
The meeting discussed the strategy prepared by the company during the past weeks with the aim of communicating with
tour operators and segments of tourists targeted in the Arab and European markets, through the appropriate channels and by sending messages that suit every market. This strategy was prepared in light of the circumstances of the Coronavirus pandemic, and coincides with the Egyptian state launching a vaccination campaign for all workers in the tourism sector against the virus since early April, which began in the governorates of South Sinai and the Red Sea.
During the meeting, Mamoun Sobeih, President of APCO - Middle East, expressed the company's pride in cooperating with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, pointing to the aspiration to use the best global communication mechanisms of work to increase awareness of Egypt's tourism potentials, and to promote the unique experience that Egypt provides to tourists.
