Minister of Tourism and Antiquities meets with Russian Ambassador in Cairo
On Sunday, Dr. Khaled El Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, received Ambassador Çyurchi Borisenko of Russia in Cairo at the ministry's headquarters in Zamalek.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities began the meeting by emphasizing Egypt's and its tourist resorts full readiness to receive tourism from Russia and from all countries of the world, pointing out that the tourist resorts in South Sinai and the Red Sea, which are scheduled to return tourism since the resumption of tourist traffic last July, witnessed a marked increase in the number of tourists during the past months, indicating the confidence of tourism exporting countries in the Egyptian tourist destination due to the safety of precautionary measures applied to tourist resorts and the commitment of their workers, to ensure a pleasant and safe stay for tourists.
For his part, the Ambassador of Russia in Cairo stressed the love of Russian citizens to Egypt and its ancient civilization, pointing out the importance of the Egyptian tourist destination for them, because they have been associated with Egypt since childhood as they study Egyptian civilization in the stages of their education
