In line with the continuous cooperation and coordination between the ministries of aviation, tourism and antiquities, Hurghada International Airport received the first flight of Condor Airlines, a German charter airline, coming from Frankfurt, with 220 passengers on board.
The plane was received by the tradition of spraying water, and the public relations team received the passengers and the crew of the plane with flowers and chocolates. Everyone celebrated the captain of the plane as this was his last trip before retirement. Hurghada airport provided all the necessary facilities and speeding up the arrival procedures with all the precautionary measures and social distancing implemented.
The members of the Egyptian Tourist Promotion Board received travelers with flowers and distributed promotional materials about Egypt, its tourist and archaeological components and souvenirs.
It is worth noting that this will be a weekly flight until mid-March, then the number of flights will increase to 3 flights per week.
