Giza Plateau region received heads of African constitutional and supreme courts and councils, and members of delegations participating in fifth high-level Cairo meeting of heads of constitutional courts, supreme courts and African constitutional councils, which is hosted by Supreme Constitutional Court under auspices of His Excellency President of Republic, which is held from 12-16 June.

This visit comes within framework of Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities' keenness to benefit from important events, activities and visits to promote tourism to Egypt and its various tourist and archaeological destinations.

They were received by Mr. Ashraf Mohieldin, Director General of Giza Plateau Antiquities District, and area inspectors took them on a tour of area and gave them a full explanation of history of building pyramids and Sphinx.

During visit, they were keen to record their visit by taking memorial photos in Panorama area. They also expressed their admiration for Giza Plateau, the way they were built, and Sphinx carved.
