Closing of The Grand Egyptian Museum in preparation for its official opening.

In preparation for the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, the museum will be closed from June 15 to July 5 for organizational and logistical work.

As part of the final preparations for the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled for July 3, the museum will be temporarily closed from June 15 to July 5. During this period, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities will carry out a number of organizational and logistical work inside the museum. Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Grand Egyptian Museum Authority, confirmed that the museum is scheduled to reopen to visitors after the official opening during its official working hours, allowing visitors to enjoy the full museum experience. It's worth noting that the Grand Egyptian Museum has been undergoing a trial run for a number of its venues since October 16th. The museum authority also began implementing the new official opening hours for these venues in February. The museum welcomes visitors in both summer and winter, seven days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The museum also opens in the evening on Saturdays and Wednesdays, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
