In light of the precautionary measures to confront coronavirus, all museums and archaeological sites in Egypt will be closed to public, starting tomorrow Monday morning, 23 March until 31 March, for sterilization and disinfection in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population and in accordance with international standards.

          Dr. Mostafa Waziri, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, stated that a programme to raise awareness on prevention and protection against the virus will take place for site and museum employees during this period.
