A new archaeological discovery in Saqqara dating back 2,500 years

The first and largest cache was discovered in the Bobastian necropolis in Saqqara, which dates back to the late period  and contains 150 bronze statues of ancient Egyptian gods, including (Anubis, Amun, Min, Osiris, Isis, Nefertum, Bastet, Hathor) and 250 closed colored wooden coffins containing mummies in good condition. Also, a papyrus was found in good condition inside a coffin, which contains chapters from the Book of the Dead (one of the ancient Egyptian religious books).
