Since 15 of May to 23 July, 605 hotels and resorts in 21 governments, have received the “Hygiene Safety” certificate after fulfilling the regulations made by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, approved by the cabinet in accordance with the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO).

These hotels and resorts are located in 21 Governorates all over Egypt:
South Sinai, North Sinai, Red Sea, Matrouh, Alexandria, Suez, Greater Cairo, Qena ,Luxor , Aswan, Damietta, Fayoum, Beheira, Port Said, Dakahlia, Ismailia, Minya, Assuit, Sohag, Beni Suef and El Wadi El Gedid .

They received the certificate after being subjected to inspection carried out by specialized committee from the Ministries of Tourism and Antiquities, Health and Population, the Egyptian Hotels Association and representatives from the concerned governorates. Now, they are able to receive guests.

More hotels in these governorates and others will be inspected for operation.

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities calls on citizens and tourism companies to restrict dealing to hotels that have obtained a health safety certificate, and not any others.
