 This door is one of the masterpieces from the Ottoman era, and counts among the largest silver-plated doors in the whole world. It bears the name of the artist who made it, Yahudah Aslan and was brought in to the Museum of Islamic Art from the Mosque of al-Sayyidah Zaynab. It is a vivid testimony of how Egypt is a great civilization of diversity and acceptance.
