Manial Palace Museum will organize some various events on May 18 and 19, 2022 AD.
These events come on sidelines of celebration of International Day of Museums, corresponding to May 18, 2022 AD, belief in museum’s role in serving community as an educational, cultural and entertainment institution.
- Opening a temporary exhibition on occasion of International Day of Museums in Residence Saraya under title “Soft Power in Museums”, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 AD, at 10 am and will last for a month.
- Conducting art workshops (drawing and coloring workshop - jewelry-making workshop - moving puppet workshop - poetry recitation workshop - simulation workshop), on Thursday, May 19, 2022 AD, from 10 am to 2 pm.
- Holding an introductory symposium on the role of museum in community life and how visitors deal with artifacts, will presente by Amal Siddik, Director General of Manial Palace Museum, and Muhammad Al-Bardini, Director of Manial Palace Museum, from10 am to 2 pm on Thursday, May 19, 2022 AD.
- Organizing a lecture entitled “The Role of UNESCO in Preserving Museums” will presente by Mervat Mahmoud curator at Manial Palace Museum, from 12:30 to 1:00 pm on May 19, 2022 AD.
- Guided tours for museum visitors from 9 am to 3 pm, provided by museum's curators.
