Pair Statue of Tjay and Naya

This excellently preserved statue depicts the couple seated, and wearing fine clothes and elaborate wigs whose intricate details are faithfully portrayed by the sculptor. Naya affectionately has her right hand on her husband’s shoulder. On the back the couple is shown in relief sitting at an offering table facing the lady "Tinr".

New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty (c.1550–1295 BC)
